What is the mission and purpose of Steel City Impact?

The mission and purpose of Steel City Impact is to impact the lives of each and every child that walks through our doors. Giving them the ability to gain the knowledge and experience they need for the world of tomorrow. Empowering them to take control of their mind, body and spirit to set them up for a successful future.

Who is eligible to participate in Steel City Impact, and what age groups do you serve?

Steel City Impact currently serves students of Sto-Rox Junior/Senior High. We are excited about our plans to extend our services to include other school districts in the Greater Pittsburgh area in the near future.

What types of programs and activities are offered by Steel City Impact for the youth?

Steel City Impact provides comprehensive after-school and summer programming. Our diverse offerings include tutoring, academic enrichment, recreational activities, monthly earned field trips, engaging guest speakers, family events, and community service days.

How can parents and guardians get their children involved in Steel City Impact, and is there a registration process?

Parents and guardians can express their interest in having their children participate in Steel City Impact by directly contacting us or through referrals from teachers and other agencies within the school district.
